Yes, we can identify with this message...that we need to learn acceptance, no matter what the answer of our prayers are. Why? Because the Lover of your soul desires to bless you ... and He knows what is best for me and for you, beloved.
I pray this speaks to you right where you are now just as it did for me years ago. I pray L*rd that each one who comes here and reads this will have their eyes opened to all the blessings that You have for them...no matter their situation. Let them feel Your love and flood them with Your supernatural Joy and Your Shalom!

I had only recently been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and CFIDS when I recieved this in an Email. I wept.....and wept.....and wept....Surely someone had written this for ME!!! Every word penetrated to my heart and this poem really helped me to more fully understand Job's words, "Job 13:15a, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him..."
ACCEPTANCE
I asked Adonai for strength,
that I might achieve........
I was made weak,
that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health,
that I might do great things.........
I was given infirmity,
that I might do better things.
I asked for riches,
that I might be happy.......
I was given poverty,
that I might be wise.
I asked for power,
that I might have the praise of men........
I was given weakness,
that I might feel my need for HaShem.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life........
I was given life,
that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing I asked for......
but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself,
my unspoken words were answered.
I am, among women, most richly blessed.
